Inquiry on the accident with a sitting judge: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: Congress made Telangana suffer from drought and created a nightmare for 60 years, said Harish Rao. He added that while the Telangana movement was ongoing, Revanth, who once supported Baba, is now trying to talk about Krishna district without hurting Baba. Harish Rao mocked Revanth’s statement that the BRS ignored the projects sanctioned by Congress, calling it the "Joke of the Millennium." He reminded that Congress leaders filed numerous cases to delay the Palamuru Rangareddy project works, all for political gain, and ignored technical aspects, leading to the hasty completion of SLBC works.

Despite workers advising against it, they were pushed into the deadly pit. Now, their lives are lost, and we hear nothing but false cries. Harish Rao challenged Revanth to hold an inquiry with a sitting judge into the SLBC accident, urging him to uncover who the culprits are. He criticized Revanth for spreading lies and false sentiments, emphasizing that real work is done by putting effort, not just words. He expressed disappointment that despite 15 months, Revanth still lacks enlightenment, which he called Telangana's misfortune.

Harish Rao further criticized Revanth for going to Dubai for his Dubbaka MLA’s daughter’s wedding instead of visiting the SLBC accident site. He accused Revanth of spreading false rumors about attending parties and events in Dubai. Harish Rao questioned, “Isn’t it true that Revanth went for campaigning for votes via helicopter without visiting the SLBC accident site? Isn’t it true that the Minister for Irrigation stayed at home citing the lack of a helicopter, instead of going to the site?” He raised these questions during a Sunday press conference.
